Educational and Professional Background

Leigh S. Scales is an honors graduate of the University of Florida College of Law, Class of 1994. After law school, Leigh practiced law with the law firms of Rogers, Towers, P.A., and Marks, Gray, Conroy & Gibbs, P.A. Leigh then joined the faculty of Florida Coastal School of Law as a law professor. Subsequently, Leigh joined Blue Ocean Title as in-house counsel. Leigh currently focuses her practice in the areas of estate planning, probate, real estate, and preparation of Prenuptial and Postnuptial Agreements. Leigh earned her bachelor’s degree, cum laude, from Florida State University in 1991. Leigh has been a member of The Florida Bar since 1995 and is admitted to practice before all Florida courts, as well as the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida. Leigh volunteers regularly as a pro bono attorney for Jacksonville Area Legal Aid. When she is not serving her clients, Leigh enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her husband and their two grown children.
